How does the process work?
Most information (policies, procedures, etc.) is covered in our Client Paperwork that Sarah emails her clients prior to a session. Please be sure to read that information carefully and in its entirety, and keep a copy of it for your records, as it is very helpful in understanding our policies and how the process works.
What is your Pricing?

How and when do I set up a photo session?
Schedule EARLY! Our schedule normally *fills* 3-4 months in advance, so it is best to plan ahead and schedule early to reserve your spot on our calendar. Most moms-to-be schedule their newborn session early in their second trimester. Contact us to set up your appointment.
A NOTE ABOUT SCHEDULING: Our Fall (September - November) schedule is usually completely FULL by July 1st every year. We announce our Fall Mini-Session specials in late Spring each year and those fill VERY quickly. CLICK HERE to be added to our email Newsletter group to be the first to know! (We only send about 10-12 emails a year and do not share your info.) All fall sessions should be booked by July 1st. In order to get any images/prints/products back by Christmas time, sessions MUST take place by November 1st.
What do you specialize in?
Miles of Smiles Photography specializes in Newborn, Baby's 1st Year, Cake Smash, and Family photography. We have a very popular Baby's 1st Year Plan (newborn, sitter, and 1 year sessions). Newborn Sessions:
Newborn sessions most often take place when baby is between 7-21 days old. This is the peak time to capture those sleepy, curly newborn poses and details. However, if you missed that window, it is not too late. (Contact Sarah for details.) Sarah will email you with very important and helpful preparation tips and what to wear details before your session. Visit our Gallery to see our newborn and maternity images. If you see any images, colors, props, etc. that you love, please be sure to note them on your paperwork.
Maternity Sessions:

Where is your Studio Located?
Our studio is located just 5 minutes south of downtown Austin, Texas, and it is filled to the brim with AMAZING props, headbands, hats, outfits, buckets, bowls, and backdrops for clients to use. Tour it here.
Do you do Newborn Sessions in client homes?
No. Our Studio is filled with adorable props for client use, and our lighting is perfect there. (Click here for a tour of our Studio.) We have created the perfect, clean, comfortable space for our sessions, and one that is incredibly comfortable and relaxing for our clients.
What products do you offer your clients?
We offer our clients THE best products on the market. This means they are built incredibly well, the best of the best, and they are LASTING products. We feel that the true value in custom photography is about so much more than handing over images sitting on a CD. So much lasting value is found in the artwork we create for your family from your session images that you get to enjoy for years and generations to come. Seeing and enjoying those images in your home is worth every penny.
What is the In-Person Order & Design Appointment?
This is where you get to sit down with Sarah, see prints of your beautiful images, and walk through them and what you might like to purchase for display in your home, digital images to enjoy, professional prints, albums, and much more. Sarah will walk you through the process, taking out any guesswork and answering any questions you may have. These appointments are for regular sessions (not mini-session specials).
Do you keep my images? What do I do with my digital files for safe keeping after session?
We only keep images that clients purchase. *Any non-purchased images will be removed from our system after the Order is placed, so please be sure to purchase the images you really want with your original order. As soon as you receive your digital images (if you purchased those) from us, BACK THEM UP!! And then back them up AGAIN. Make a copy and put it in your fire proof safe. You can never have too many backups for safekeeping.
